Popis: DreamTaq™ DNA Polymerase is an enhanced <i>Taq</i> DNA polymerase optimised for all standard PCR applications. DreamTaq™ DNA Polymerase uses the same reaction set-up and cycling conditions as conventional <i>Taq</i> DNA polymerase. Extensive optimisation of reaction conditions is not required. The enzyme is inhibited by dUTP but can incorporate modified nucleotides. Applications include routine PCR amplification of DNA fragments up to 6 kb from genomic DNA and up to 20 kb from viral DNA, RT-PCR, and generation of PCR products for TA cloning.

In addition, <i>Taq</i> DNA polymerase exhibits deoxynucleotidyl transferase activity, which frequently results in the addition of extra adenines at the 3'-end of PCR products.
