Lipofuscin autofluorescence quencher, TrueBlack™

Popis: TrueBlack™ is a reagent for quenching lipofuscin autofluorescence in tissue sections for immunofluorescence staining. Lipofuscin consists of highly autofluorescent granules of oxidized proteins and lipids that build up in the lysosomes of aging cells. Lipofuscin granules fluoresce brightly in all channels used for fluorescence microscopy and accumulate in a cell and tissue types with age.

Popis: Nerve terminal probes are a series of fluorescent cationic styryl dyes developed to follow synaptic activity. These dyes have a lipophilic tail at one end and a hydrophilic cationically charged head group at the other end. The dyes vary in the number of carbons in the lipophilic tail (m) and the number of double bonds linking the two aromatic rings in the dye (n). AM dyes are similar to FM dyes, but contain an additional formaldehyde-fixable amino group in the cationic head.

TACE substrate II

Popis: Sensitive fluorogenic substrate for TACE (TNFalpha converting enzyme, ADAM17). Also cleaved by ADAM10 and likely other ADAMs and MMPs. The kcat/Km of TACE for this substrate is 7-fold higher than for the same peptide with the Mca-Dpa fluorophore-quencher pair. FAM fluorescence is quenched by the TAMRA group until cleavage separates them. Ex.: 485 nm, Em.: 535 nm, although the following Ex/Em can also be used: 490,494/515,520 nm. This substrate is useful for inhibitor screening, kinetic analysis, and cellular activity assay.
