Spray dryers are commonly used for performing the spray drying process used in a wide range of applications such as pharma, materials, chemistry, food, beverages, etc. Certain models are capable of working with acids, organic solvents, or mixtures of aqueous and organic solvents safely in combination with inert atmospheres and select accessories. Spray dryers use an atomizer or spray nozzle to disperse the liquid or slurry into a controlled drop-sized spray.
